***** A BER is required for all grant applications. The BER grant can not be claimed more than once per home.
All SEAI grants must be applied for before any work begins. Once approved, you’ll have an 8-month window to complete the installation works.
After the retrofit measures are completed:
The SEAI monitors all grant-supported activity by recording the BER of each home before and after the works are completed. They also verify which measures have been carried out and by which contractor. In addition, SEAI may conduct on-site inspections and assessments on selected projects to ensure that all work complies with SEAI quality standards and guidelines.
