I employed Comfort Solutions to install external insulation on my existing 1930’s house which has solid mass concrete walls. At the tender process I contacted a number of contractors, I found Comfort Solutions had the best system around, it is a patented system with a proven track record. Being a Civil Engineer myself I asked many questions about the product! I found Fergus very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions I asked straight away which put my mind at ease, he knew exactly what he was talking about and had a proven system which also is guaranteed which gave me extra peace of mind. Within a few minutes I knew that I had found the right contractor. Installation was quick and easy, and Fergus and his team carried out the work to an extremely high standard. I am delighted with the results as well, I have cut my heating costs by 50%, and my airtightness is excellent and the house is extremely comfortable. Their coloured render to the exterior of the insulation lasts for many years, which means no painting! I found Comfort Solutions through their website. I contacted them and they came very quickly to give a quote on the day and at the time that was requested. Our loft, although lagged was not up to current specifications. After some discussion we decided to just have our loft properly and fully insulated, which was not easy because we have 30 sunken lights for which insulated boxes had to be made. The fitters were very pleasant and efficient and even put down pieces of carpet to protect the floors from the dust and dirty boots. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work done and although not the cheapest, we would certainly recommend Comfort Solutions and use them again.

Their workmanship was of the highest standard, and I am absolutely delighted with the finished product. The communication throughout was excellent, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of getting a renewable energy source in their home. We had our attic insulated last year by Comfort Solutions and have been more than happy with the results. I found our initial meeting with Fergus very informative and he was very honest about the virtues and value of the various materials on offer. I had done a lot of research and we had had many quotes from various companies for attic insulation and cavity insulation. Previous companies and been very vague on details and did not seem to know the answers to my questions, but bluffed. This was not the case with Comfort Solutions and I felt very confident that they would do a good job. We were not disappointed. The installation was hassle free and extremely neat. They went beyond the call of duty by filling in gaps around pipes, etc. The house is notably warmer and retains the heat really well now. Thank you to all at Comfort Solutions.

We had external wall insulation installed on our detached bungalow and had an attic insulation upgrade during the summer of 2017. We are very pleased with the results as our house is now much cosier in winter time and holds the heat for much longer after the heating switches off which helps greatly with the fuel costs. The work was efficiently done and cooperation with other workmen was excellent, one even remarked on how helpful Comfort Solutions were in leaving easy access to wiring for outside lights and alarm, etc. All services, TV etc. were left in working order when finished. Even after full payment was made, a workman was sent to make a minor adjustment to downpipes. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Comfort Solutions Retrofit.
