Comfort Solutions Retrofit specialise in remedial action for these issues and we offer a wide range of advanced ventilation options, including Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR), Continuous Mechanical Extract Ventilation (CMEV) and background (passive) ventilation.
Ventilation is critical in our homes for many reasons. This is both for the comfort of the occupants and to uphold the integrity of the structure. Reasons for adequate ventilation include:
To provide an adequate supply of fresh air to dwelling occupants
To provide an adequate air supply for the safe operation of fuel-burning appliances
To minimise the risk of condensation by allowing moisture to exit
To avoid the accumulation of radon in affected areas
To keep airborne pollutants to a minimum within the dwelling

Comfort Solutions Retrofit has a wide range of ventilation options for the various types of houses we find in in Irish dwellings and all of our systems are suitable for retrofitting into existing homes. We can install through stone walls, concrete walls, roofs, etc. and our crews are hugely experienced and knowledgeable with all types of structure.
We also offer a range of air purification devices with advanced technology and complete with Hepa filters. Our air purification devices can trap and protect against 99.995% of all known airborne viruses!
